Passing is easy until you look at the pics in the thread below thread. Very similar to the car I'm considering.

Buy it. Take out the seats. Put in Race buckets for two grand. Replace with stock when it's time to move on.

Jack Daniels Porsche in NJ has an allocation to build. good luck.

My spec would have been Blue w/White Gold as first choice and Dk Gray with red as second. Options would have been lift system and not much else.

The car I can buy is Dk Gray with Red and fully loaded. NAV, Full Leather, PCCB, cornering lights, lift system, premium sound, deviated stitching, etc., etc. The extra bucks don't bother me that much, it's just having full leather and a bunch of stuff I don't need in a track car. Not sure how much all of the extra's would really get me on resale either.

I'm leaning towards taking the car. But the spec is bugging me.

If you go with the grey/red, then if it were me I'd paint the wheels riviera blue and remove the decals. Would be a gorgeous track car.

I also like the installing a cage and race buckets idea

Not sure if I even fit in Porsches CF seats. They are very narrow. So adding race buckets in my size may be the first thing I do.

I also plan on getting the cage. Suncoast has them. Adaptives and lap belts don't cut it anymore in my GT3.

Don't get it, you don't want to blow 150k on a car that you're not sure about. I'd say get some test drives and see some color combos in person, test out some options, then custom order your GT3 RS so it's exactly what you want.

That's of course if you can do that...

If you can't, I'd wait for a better RS to come along.
