SAVVYBOY-Crashed his GT3RS!!!
#27
Hey Folks! Thanks so much for the kind comments. I am alive and kicking! No worries, just a bruised arm from the airbag deploy. Cause remains up for discussion and while some ideas, more examination needs to be done. There may have been a mechanical failure. Or not.
Now that I am home and car is here too, we think it is repairable. Unless the frame machine shows the tub is tweaked, and there is no evidence of that, then the "Track Rat" is coming back stronger and better than ever.
The worst thing was seeing and knowing all my run group mates were back on track and I was fooked for both run days. Can't wait to get the hammer down and will go to back-up plan and use Mr Spyder for my Laguna Seca sessions this Monday and Tuesday. I JUST found and mounted Michelin Pilot Sport Cups on him so he is fully capable of track duty. Whew!
Look, we all know that certain risks must be accepted for certain pursuits. Those of us that love to seek the limits will sometimes get bit in the pursuit. While I consider myself a safe and competent driver, sometimes things happen. And they certainly did two days ago (green guy was Fate)
