Can any of you guys that claim to have family ties confirm for me whether Uwe holds a dual US Citizenship (I'm assuming he's a German citizen).

 

Uwe is a German National, not a US citizen.

South Africa is filled with Israelis and Russians "businessmen" with ties to organized crime.

I doubt the typical south African low ranking criminal even knows what Gemballa is; let alone recognize Uwe to commit this kidnapping.

I am very surprised that people don't go on facts. We know the police are involved, as well as Interpol. Do we really think that if Uwe called his family, the police would fail to tell them to not discuss this with anyone? It is quite possible that he did in fact call, but it is certain that none of us would know about it. The family, as of this morning, have not revealed this to people who have known him for over 25 years. Can we please just go on facts. As of now, the authorities have him listed as missing, not wanted. So all the smear rumors are unfounded until facts emerge. Please tread lightly on this topic. Family and friends are in a state of intense anguish and an empire built on tremendous hard work and integrity thus far is at stake.

 

Looks like they didn't research properly cause Uwe came from Stuttgart to Dubai for 4 days, then went to Johannesburg.

 

Yep, figures the rags throw out what they can as fast as they can or sometimes not at all.

I spoke with a manager at the Gemballa facility in Leonberg, Germany at 1330 hours today German time. The facility is open for business, no cars have been seized or impounded and Mrs. Gemballa is running the company in her husband's absence.

My company is a Gemballa supplier and so far everything is normal as it relates to the business.

Uwe is still missing but now no one seems to be sure about his safety, or if he is even alive. I apologize that more information is not available. I do know that German and South African Authorities as well as Interpol are working hard to find him and return him to his family.

I will post again anytime credible information becomes available.
