I plan on doing the same with the 996tt, driving it occasionally during the winter months. Better safe than sorry, I vote for winter tires definitely. Thats what i will be doing with mine...

Just do burnouts at every stop light to keep the tires warm. :P

While I run snows on my 911s in the winter, I think if you're only going out for the occasional jaunt in the cold & dry, you'll be OK. As you know those cups will be like hockey pucks when they chill.

BTW, this was my turbo within a week of pick up last winter. Didn't have the snows on it during this 500+ mile day!

I think it's good that you want to get the car out occasionally during the winter. It's good for the car.

i vote for the c63, not the gt3.
Friend drove his C63 in the winter (New Hampshire winters), it handled great.
