Thumbs up PetFrog Dyno results (18HP/20TQ gain) with GIAC and Straighpipes!!

Well finally got to Dyno my car and I'm very happy.

My car has the following only.

1. GIAC Software (running on 91 pump gas)

2. Sharkwerks custom made Straighpipes

We did only 2 runs and the best run produced the following (Graph will be emailed to me later)

HP 376.5 with the 15% drive train loss on DynoSpot's DynoJet dyno, that equates to 432.975 HP

TQ 278.8 with the 15% drive train loss on DynoSpot's DynoJet dyno, that equates to 320.62 TQ

A stock car always hits around the 415hp and 300tq crank mark after the conversion according to EVO/SharkWerks when they dyno so thats an improvement of 18 WHP/20 TQ over stock

And who said Straighpipes make me lose power I didn't have to spend thousand and thousands of dollars for an exhaust and producing same HP/TQ gains. So I'm one happy camper with an increasing Hearing Loss

Sounds great. So they didn't do a baseline dyno before the mods? Good numbers either way.

Unfortunately I never got to Dyno my car stock but I think this gives us a good idea anyways.

Pretty impressive for such a tuned out motor. Baseline data would be really ideal for comparison purposes. Any idea what DB the car is screaming at? It could be an issue at Laguna Seca etc.

sounds great Fred. So what's the redline now at? When were you at DSR's dyno?

Ritesh - Laguna Seca is 92db limit. No way I pass. Even stock CaymanS get black flagged. Unfortunately I don't race that track as much anymore as those sound restrictions are ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I'm doing 102db +

Drew, was there weeks ago. I plan to go there soon across the street to get my Bentley Dynoed

Ara between us and EVO we've done/seen a good number of GT3 and RS' on the dyno and each and everytime they're right on the money and come out to 415-417hp every time and it's unlikely Fred's is any different in that respect. So it's pretty safe to say he added a few more ponies although we would have liked to have had a baseline... Fred doesn't like to be stock so
