Here are a few Pics of the GT3 and ZR1 together. The Real Fast and the Furious. The ZR1 has 648hp and 600lb ft of Torque. Handles pretty good for a muscle car.

Am i the only one who thinks the zr1 can hardly be considered a muscle car? I think it still has the title because it's a corvette and historically vettes are muscle cars.. the zr1 is much more sophisticated than any "muscle car." The GT500 Mustang is a muscle car, the new challenger is a muscle car.. but the zr1? cmon.

You're correct. It's been a while since the Corvette was a Muscle Car. Even the 4th Generation Models, from the early 90's were much more of a refined sports car than a Muscle Car. Today's Z06 and ZR1 are very competent track cars that just happen to have brutal horsepower. The ZR1 is actually a very smooth driving street car. The Magnetic ride suspension is phenomenally smooth in touring mode. Great daily driver if you wanted to use it that way. But take it on the track with the suspension set to sport and build some boost in the supercharger then just let it rip. The ZR1 brakes are every bit as good as the Porsche PCCB's. The only big beef I have is the steering. It's still a bit numb compared to Porsche's.

Well if it had great handling, it would just be too close to perfection

I agree that it is a great car, and have nothing against it whatsoever.. i just think its a little too refined to be considered a muscle car (and thats not necessarily a good or bad thing)
