Design Review Of The Porsche Carrera GT
#76
So just reading the thoughts of others on the clutch, and the little tips on driving it, I still don't get it.
I'm not rich, and own a Vauxhall Corsa, so aside from the huge power and size differences, can the CGT be driven like a Corsa. Is there a special technique to changing gear or can it be done as in any other car?
What do you have to do at junctions as well?

Space in a CGT?
When I'm on a road trip, I'll lay some soft clothes between the halves, socks/undies around the edges and a light, soft bag on top. Then, I reassemble all the loose items into the bag at a hotel. (Oh yea, I fill the passenger foot well with helmet bag, shoes, toiletries, etc. -- all in soft bags. The space behind the seats would hold a few changes of clothes, too -- but in mine, its full of harness belts.)
I suppose, one could send all your stuff ahead in a Rolls, but what performance guy wants a Rolls?
