Jst saw it. It looks like a baby CLS but it completely demolishes the 3-series in terms of looks and I bet performance.

Not sure what you mean. The current model that has been out since 2006 only comes in one wheelbase, which is the same length as a 750li or A8L.
There has been no option for a shorter wheelbase.

In the states that is, only the lwb is offered. Their is. Swb offered in other countries.
