Yep. Everyone I know who has a Benz of this vintage would never get rid of theirs for a new one, and they very well could write a check for any Benz ones out there.

Pretty expensive! The S550 base price was around $85K.

What's interesting to me about this is that it's such a great example of how early technology is adopted by expensive manufacturers since the tech is expensive to make. Nowadays, we've gotten to a point where all of this is so standard, it's not seen as a luxury.

Lower the rear of that 126 and inch and the front 2-3 inches - it would look much more modern. I love 126 cars. Probabaly one of the best cars, in terms of mechanical and electrical reliability, Benz ever put out.

that pic is a little decieving, its sitting up on the sidewalk on the otherside

it sits a little lower overall

i will eventually put HR springs and biltstein HD shocks down the road
