Really a stunning BMW inside and out! I fell in love when the Gran Coupe concept was introduced last year (thanks for the video, Milanno - one of my favorites). With M Sport treatment and Individual options it's even more special.

Pictured above is Opal White full-leather trim specially developed for the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, combined with the interior color Amaro Brown. Here, the leather-covered instrument panel and Alcantara BMW Individual roof liner are also presented in Amaro Brown.

Now we can wait for the M version.

As with all other 4 door "coupes" like the CLS or Audi A7 I don't really see the point but it still looks great...

 

I guess these days you can make a sedan, call it a coupe and get away with it...

Looks good, very good indeed, but it's no coupe.

 

I am all about BMW all the time but this car just does not work for me. There are some interesting design cues like the rear that I love, and some horrible ones like the front and the side cuts that I can't stand. Overall it just doesn't deliver as a whole package the way the Audi A7 and Mercedes CLS do. It also doesn't look different or interesting enough to really warrant bmw making this car. Uggh. BMW coupes could be so much better than they are. The e92 M3 and the current Z4 have some really cool elements but as you go up the food chain BMWs really become uninteresting. It used to be the opposite for models out around 2002/3.

WTF is the point of this line wedged between an already boring 7 and a bland 5? This isn't a "coupe" either. And people flame Porsche for watering down the brand - this thing is almost identical to its sisters the 5 and 7.

 

Wow this looks amazing! And I am sure they will sell a ton of them! Now axe the 5series GT.

 

I think that's exactly the point! It looks great!
