epic thread! good to see someone who is both focused and knowledgable.
i had a friendly race with an Audi S5 last night, my launch control failed (wasn't pressing the brake hard enough) so by the time we hit the speed limit i was already a car length behind and gave up. even with LC i probably wouldn't have beat it.
i want to go to revo stage 2+ now. hope you don't mind me asking this in your build thread, but do i need all of the intercooler+hpfp+tbe? i'm happy to do tbe and maybe also hpfp but would prefer to keep hardware mods to a minimum so i have money left over for track wheels/tyres.

Thank you
Thank you Jonathan.
Being stock, it's hard to catch the S5.
For Stage 2+ you need all the parts: HPFP, TBE, Intercooler, Intake. I strongly recommend you to do them if you want to go Stage 2+. Especially an Intercooler (your ar in Sydney, and i suppose it's very hot there
).
Now it looks very expensive, but once you will have the Stage 2+ file, you will fall in love with your car.
I've seen that you have DSG. I also recommend you get the HPA DSG remap: rev limit raised to 7500rpm, torque limit removed, fully manual mode.
If you really want to save money for the track, you can do this:
get Revo Stage 1 and an intercooler. Without the intercooler your car will soak on the track.
Even with Stage 1, the car is fast.
Hope this helps. If you have more questions, i will be more than happy to help you
