test drive an M3 with DCT,downshift a few times in a tunnel and then come back to this thread...

The C63 and the M3 look similar on paper.

But one test drive and if you like driving at all, you will quickly forget about the C63.

Oh, and the M3 comes in stick shift or DCT, C63 comes in that autotragic PRND.

if it must be auto i would say C63 all the way. the M3's V8 has no torque so if you don't have the manual its boring & performance is tepid.
Even DCT is still better than PRND.

I just can't stand autotragic, feels like you are riding in the car and not driving.

Yeah, I suppose you can try to use that PRND321 to "downshift" in a tunnel.

I still prefer DCT, but I guess I will make do with the 6 speed. Speaking of which, they put the car on the boat on 7/16, but it apparently is still somewhere in the water...

I think the C63 is more of a beast. I always roll my window down when one approaches

its the same thing man, if hes gonna be stuck with an auto at least get stuck with one that is fast.

Not quite the same thing.

The DCT manual mode is a real manual mode with real clutches that allows you to hold each gear at redline, proper rev matched downshift, etc. None of which a PRND tragic tranny equipped Benz can do.
