YOUR favorite car manufacturer and car.

If this is a repost I'm sorry but I couldn't find one. This isn't like that other thread that took you to some website . What's your favorite car manufacturer and car they make. Interested in what you guys post. I'll start it off.

Manufacturer -
Chevrolet

Car - C4 Corvette ZR-1, The King of the Hill. To this date it is considered one of the most durable supercars of all-time. It made 375 HP and the engine was built by, then General Motors owned, Lotus. All of these are records still held for a Corvette, certified by the FIA

7 International Records:

* 100 Miles @ 175.600 mph;
* 500 Miles @ 175.503 mph;
* 1000 Miles @ 174.428 mph;
* 5000 km @ 175.710 mph;
* 5000 Miles @ 173.791 mph;
* 12 Hours Endurance @ 175.523 mph;
* 24 Hours Endurance @ 175.885 mph for 4,221.256 Miles

3 WORLD RECORDS - IRRESPECTIVE of CATEGORY or CLASS:

* 5000 km @ 175.710 mph;
* 5000 Miles @ 173.791 mph;
* 4,221.256 Miles @ 175.885 mph

In 1990 the ZR-1 was released and set the car world on fire. It did 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and went over 180 MPH. These specs were faster than it's main competitor - the 964 Turbo. In my opinion it is the greatest American car of all-time because there had never been a car from America that combined that technology and that sheer brutality.

I personally like the 959 better than the Carrera GT.

Tie between the Ferrari F40 and Toyota Supra. Both were way, way ahead of their time, and both marked the beginning of the end for their representative manufacturers.

Two of my favorites! Great choices IIVVX! In terms of sheer driving excitement the F40 can't be beat.

Porsche obviously....and dont get me wrong, i LOVE the CGT, but if i had one i wouldnt use it/enjoy as much as I would like because i would want it to remain perfect .......but this on the other hand i would drive the CRAP out of!!!
