Kia's version of the Cube spied winter testing Could this boxy thing be the production version of the recently showed concept car Kia KV7? Or is Kia/Hyundai making a competitor to the Nissan Cube, Scion xB and Honda Element. These are the very first photos of this new prototype that gives the saying “box on wheels” a new meaning. Take the wheels away and you can use it as a cabin in the woods.
Even if the prototype is camouflaged heavy as all Kia and Hyundai prototypes, we can still make out some details; the rear doors are different on the left and right side. On the left side it’s a conventional rear door while the one on the right side is a sliding door. The boxy design makes it very spacious, almost like an MPV version of the Kia Soul. We can expect this Kia to be show room ready at the latter half of 2012 as a 2013 model. Until then we probably also have a name for it.
