The BMW i3 caught during winter testing

Our spies in Northern Sweden caught another "i" today testing, this time the BMW i3. Autoblog reported this past week BMW is looking to sell at least 30,000 i3 electric vehicles (formerly known as the Megacity) each year beginning in 2014.

Ian Robertson, BMW's head of global sales and marketing, told Automotive News that the automaker is "targeting volume production for the i3." BMW aims to launch the i3 in 2013 and sources inside BMW claim that the i3 will sticker somewhere north of 40,000 euros.
