Tire recs...for Lemons car...

So the rules of 24 Hours of Lemons state that I need a DOT tire with 190 treadwear or better. What's the stickiest tire I can get for a 15" rim? Wear should not be a factor as we have two sets.

Are the Hankook Ventus R-S2s any good? 200 treadwear. 205/50/15

Well I ordered some Falken AZENIS RT-615s from Vulcan tire, hope they work out well. Still not sure if we should swap out wheels for day 2 or not.

Thats exactly what I was gonna recommend! I had them on my Subie, and they are very sticky tire for cheap. Good Choice!

Try Sumitomo HTR 200. Soft and sticky and cheap!

I actually have those on our stock wheels (13"s). At 380 treadwear I ruled them out as likely being not sticky enough, but given my experiences with the HTRZ IIIs I guess I shouldn't be so quick to judge.

We've got a set of 16s, 15s, and 13s Piss poor planning FTW!
