So, my Best Buy extended warranty paid off.

My 5281F is now 3.5 years old, and the fan was making a loud noise. So I opened a claim with Best Buy, and it was very easy, no BS, they checked that I was within warranty period, sent a guy to inspect the noise, ordered the fan, and came back today to replace the fan.

There are two fans, and they are not for cooling purposes, but mere circulation of air. They are much too small for any real cooling.
