Quote: I've had Black Ops for two days and I'm still feeling like its just 'another' COD. Nothing really new. I think the weapons are so so. RC? In 1970's? Really stupid. Just cartoonish.

Someone needs to come out with a game with movement and modality like MW2 and realism like MoH.

I guess I'm just 'meh' about this game. I loved MW2 so much more.....
Nooo shit. Could you imagine a MW2 version with the MOH grit and realism? On MOH I actually had to move positions due to smoke and dust blowing across my field of fire. When is the last time ANYTHING blocked a view in MW???

I feel the same with this game as I did when MW2 came out. I felt like there could have been more innovative ideas. Wager matches are fun, but they are so quick that they get old really fast. The currency system is alright, but better equipment should cost more than crappy equipment. The maps and guns have the WaW feel that I don't really like, but overall I think the games okay, and i'll probably play it for a few more months.

Right after the predator missile impacts there's a black cloud of smoke.

That's about it though since no one uses smoke grenades.

But if you're behind a window with a smoke grenade, shoot the glass once, it cracks, you can see through the smoke in MW2.

Im having fun with it. Once you learn the maps and the weapons, and how they react it becomes much more enjoyable. My current fav. weapon right now is the stoner with the reflex optics. I've been putting good numbers up with that. On small maps the Olympia shot gun is awesome. At most it only takes two shots to drop a guy, and the range isn't too bad.

It also makes a huge difference if you can get on a team where people know what they are doing. Like last night, Rocco, some friends and I only lost one or two games the whole time.

And you and I tore people up... The Stoner is awesome. I cause a LOT of destruction on Nuketown with it. I love MoH's realism, but I hate that it's a sniper/camper paradise. In Black Ops, I haven't encountered too many campers, jumpers, glitchers, etc. That is a VAST improvement on MW2, not to mention the idiotic cowboy shotguns, heartbeat sensors, etc.

Agree with the earlier comment about mixing COD's playability with MOH's realism 100%.

Alright guys if you want to absolutely own a match, get a gunship in Nuketown during a demolition game. The enemy got one, and I would respawn and instantly die. Not even enough time to switch to anti-aircraft missile.
