Does anyone still play this game? Seems like a flop. The MW2 thread was always abuzz. This thread goes 2 weeks without a post.

 

Yeah, MW2 was such a good game and I never got used to the new "gameplay feel" BO has in comparison. It's a lot harder to aim and kill someone now.

Although I've started to enjoy the multiplayer more now. Haven't played it in a while but it is good fun though.

I love this for practice / warmup, although I admit I usually just turn the AI on "idiot" and go blast through everyone.

I've been playing, not sure why people that liked MW2 don't like this one. It's supposed to be a little older / slower, it's set in the 60s.

What setting does everyone use for the look sensitivity? I'm thinking I should turn it up since I'm constantly getting obliterated.

 

In the same way you don't trade in your Gayman for a Corvair . . .

Jokes aside though, I did finish Campaign mode last night (my Xbox fried and I just got a new one) while waiting for TG to download, and the story itself was pretty interesting.

BUT! And this is a big BUT! The movies/cinematics between actual game play damn near drove me crazy - I was seconds away from punching the television after having sat through the 4th ten minute story I couldn't skip in the last half hour. I mean fvck, just let me play the damn game.

But as far as Multiplayer goes, I went back to MW2 a loooong time ago and I'll NEVAR go back to Black Ops'.

 

The prototype I held, its about the size of a MP5, with a collapsable stock. Controllers on forward grip and to reload you have to slap the bottom of the magazine (kind of cool). Overall it fit me pretty well, and looks like fun.

Unfortunately, the only game its for so far is Killzone 3. They believe it will be upcoming for BO and such, but not yet.

 

I can't even play Black Ops multiplayer. There's just not enough action. The maps are too big so it's hard to find people. It seems like you have to empty the magazine into someone to kill them. After you do that, you don't have any ammo left because sleight of hand is a must-have perk so now you don't have scavenger. And you're kill streaks don't stack, which is the worst part. MW2 is exciting when you're trying to get those extra 2 kills for chopper gunner (and you have a decent chance of getting it, unlike Black Ops).

Modern Warfare 3 being produced by 3 studios, an expert claims

Modern Warfare 3 announcement is due later this year. Unfortunately they're not sure if it'll be released in time for the holidays.

I like black ops better than mw2. Said it.

 

Its growing on me, its def. a lot more fun with friends.
