Help with HD Camcorder

Looking to pick one up for the upcoming wedding and honeymoon.... Don't need anything CRAZY, but also don't want it to be "outdated" within 6 months....

Suggestions?

I've been searching for one for months and hate the fact that by the time you decide on one, it WILL be outdated.

Ya it's very frustrating.... I almost just bought the new HDflip, but something tells me I would get sick of filming things with that lil thing....

in 6 months, whatever you pick will be outdated. i picked up a jvc everio with 60GB hard drive. it's been a great camera for video. the still picture camera sucks, however.

We bought the original first ever Everio with memory card GZ-MC500 I think back when we first got married, and it was a great little camcorder to take around the 6 different cities during our honeymoon, and the pictures sucked.

I guess they never fixed the still photo part of the camcorder after all these years.
