Ha ha Chris, I'm not a closet-dwelling geek, but I will give it another try. I only tried arcade mode because I wanted to test the driving physics, but I'll give career a try and see what I think. I don't suck at driving and I have a wheel (which apparently I can't use).
I'm not praising F1 2010 as the best driving game ever, but I'm having a hard time going from that to GT. Even when taking an R8 for a spin, I felt like I was driving a bus with slicks in the rain. I just couldn't get that "holy crap I'm flying around this corner" exhilaration. I also didn't get the feeling I really hard to battle the AI - either my car would be fast enough to keep up with the drones, or it wouldn't be.

Alright, I took Chris' advice and tried the GT mode. Definitely more fun, but I wouldn't say worth-being-delayed-2-years fun.
However, I guess I won't sell it. ![Wink](https://teamspeed.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Still, the AI and damage is basically reminiscent of GT4 (e.g. shitty and/or non-existent).
