I'm telling you guys... this game gets better the more you play it. The harder levels on SP are ridiculous. MP gets a lot better as you figure out the way it's played and you unlock some stuff.

What games do you play in MP?

 

Argh.. I'm guessing I ran into some type of bug on the Dorothy mission. I come up to the edge of the mountain so I can do the laser guided thing and he doesn't take it out. I double checked to make sure I'm in the right spot about 3 or 4 times by reloading the last check point, and killing my teammates so the game restarts, and nothing.

I know exactly what to do, I'm replaying it on a harder difficulty, and where to go but the game won't let me. I even managed to by pass one of the invsi-walls by going along side the edge and the game has no idea where I'm at. I killed a few taliban via grenades and head shots and they just pop back up like nothing happened. Annoying..

 

Chris - I mostly play the team deathmatch, but I have played all of the types. The sector control one is pretty fun, too.

Tsar - I've found a couple glitches, too. Sometimes you have to restart from the last save point... annoying but not terminally bad.

 

Just finished single player, way to short. That was like half the game i expected.

MP is fun! Team work is key and a nice change of pace from MW2

I really like the MP. Its much more rough and battlefield like than MW2. Team work and cover are key. I am definately not trading it in for a while!

 

I thought the SP was pretty sick but as everyone mentioned way too short. The only bad glitch I came across was in the mission when you ride the ATV, it parked and automatically got me off as it's supposed to but then I was stuck in place. Luckily it fixed itself after starting from prev checkpoint.

Don't want to repeat what everyone else has said for the MP, everyone is spot on. There are very few run and gun type moments and if you pop your head out it'll get sniped. I really like the combat mission gametype (alot like battlefield) but it's snipers paradise and can be all around aggravating. Most people that get really high K/D ratios kill their way to the first or second killstreak and then use them to get subsequent killstreaks. I kept seeing guys go 50+/single digits or 0 deaths and couldn't figure out what they were doing that I wasn't. Then I started using my killstreaks wisely and next thing I knew I was 63/13. Just gotta play smart.

I'll play this and Halo Reach on and off but will definitely drop both when Black Ops comes out.

 

I watched the MP black ops demo on xbox last night. Honestly, though i am a huge mw2 fan, it looks kind of corny. Remote control cars? exploding arrows? What is this, some kind of bad "rambo" movie? Of course ill still get it, but i kind of like the gritty battlefield feel of the MOH mp.
