simplistically (and by no means am i a techie) you will be able to sync your calendar, contacts, and email...just as if you were using a bb or a windows based phone.

The SDK basically replaces the entire Mac OSX Developer tools with an upgraded version that handles the iPhone stuff as well... very interesting stuff.
