seems a little high for a notebook computer. you can get a nice Dell for $699 . . .

They can rename it Macbook Airhead for those people foolish enough to spend $40K on a piece of technology that will need to be replaced in 3-4 years!

That is ridiculous. I would never pay more than $2,000 for a computer unless it was something special like a server or high end machine for commercial use.
