Actually it was my impression that Ferrari will be using a V6 Turbo in the new California to coincide with the new V6 Turbo era in F1, but I could be wrong. Either way I doubt that they would share the same engine in the California as they will in the replacement for the 458 as they know it would not go down well with traditional Ferrari buyers who tend to think of the California as the soft core Ferrari (which is not necessarily true, though they are targeting the same customer as MB SL
