Good guess DJ but only half correct. While the car may be out in europe as a 2012 the car will not show up in the US until 2013 model year. I hope that is helfpful.

THe rear pipes is actually more than just a design change. The issue is that they had to turn the mufflers/pipes to make room for the top mechanism.

I hope you find that helpful.

Yes, my local Ferrari dealer suggested the same. Production may be starting soon, and would be rolled out first in Europe/Asia, but the US version likely won't be available until Fall as a 2013 model. They also suggested a likely price increase (10%+ ?) between the engine, new materials and perhaps some kind of more dynamic suspension system?

But does anyone have a guess as to when the next generation California might be rolled out? 2014 model year? 2015? The production cycle seems to be 5 years after introduction and rollout. I'm debating timing and new/used question on a California. In New England it's a short season for convertibles and I'd love to replace my 911 cab with a California for summer (this or next), but would prefer to go used initially if a new iteration will be available as early as 2014. Thinking Grigio Alloy, black top, Crema Daytonas/contrast stitching, Thoughts? Thanks!

Not yet. Should be in the next week. Will be sending the car back to MAG next week. They will lower her 1 inch and will mount the wheels.
