. But I would think if the main switch is off then the battery wouldn't drain...

Ok so yep it was the fuel pump problem. Had to order parts now so car's gona be out of play for about a week. They did give me a beat-up old quattroporte to play with in the meantime though lol. EDIT: Forgot to mention the QP now has a flat.
I just tracked the M6 for the first time --- wow what an amazing machine. However, it has got NOTHING on the 612. Different worlds completely - like the 612 was born on the track even though it is a GT cruiser and not really a race car.
