Ex Al Thani 599 being driven stupidly in London
Hi all,
I believe the turquoise 599 used to belong to an Al-Thani family member, hence the colour, but has now been sold to an Iraqi chap.
Wealth does not entitle you drive your car like an absolute tool in a built up area.

Seriously, this guy is hitting 3rd gear on the wrong side of the road in a 30mph heavily populated zone. Must be doing triple the speed limit.
I'm all for driving fast, but it needs to be done in right context.
The guys who visit London every year are getting a worse and worse reputation, and all that will end up happening is that the Police will crack down and not let them bring their cars over. Then they'll be forced to buy a UK car when they come over, and the Police can work a lot better with those...
Such a shame, as a few years ago a friend and I were writing a book on the supercar scene that invades London every summer, and it was a very positive book. But now it just wouldn't sell, people in London really do hate the visitors who speed around town.

I think the attitude of ' I have so much money and bring so much money into the country I can't be touched' has been adopted. It's good for the economy on the upside- they spend millions each year, but I think this chap got a bit carried away.

Yup, he lives in my neck of the woods in Kensington! Managed to get a shot of him once day while driving towards Knightsbridge!

Driving like that is very dangerous. That is true. But on the other hand that is exactly what people want to see. I mean videos like that get millions of Youtube clicks. 100 of people come to London every year JUST for the cars.I am or was one of them for the past 3 years. I went to London every year just to see these amazing cars.
And to be honest and fair this is ONE stupid driver. You cant say that all arabs drive like in London or other cities...

Where in Kensington does the 599 live, I'm next to Holland Park.
