As ultimate 1980s supercars, the Ferrari 288 GTO and Porsche 959 appeared in poster form in thousands of boys' bedrooms. evo's editor Nick Trott was one of those boys, and in evo Issue 149, a Ferrari v Porsche special, he drives them both and attempts to pick a winner.
