Non-Clear Coat Wax?

Okay, I'll jump right into it. After Googling for a while and not reaching a conclusion, I'll just ask you all. Can I use a regular wax (like Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax) on a car most likely without a clear coat? I'm doing this for my friend who I details his cars for every now and then, and then he has these older (like his Model T) that probably doesn't have a clear coat. And he loves the Gold Class wax, so could I use that? Or do I need to get a polisher that can still be applied by hand? Thanks for the help guys.

Yup, it is fine. Products like zaino has formulas specifically for non clear coat paints. Those should never be used on clear coat paints. If you aren't sure. It's best to use products that are safe for clear coat.
