I understand that Ozone generators are used for this purpose.

My sister recently had a house fire and her clothes were made stink free by a professional cleaner who used an Ozone chamber.

Most of the smoke will be in the headliner, carpets, and floor mats. It will take some time, but I use the Autoglym Interior Cleaner and put in some Meguiar's Odor Eliminator. After a few applications, the smell is noticeably reduced. Keep repeating until it becomes more bearable.

Leave a cup of vinegar in the cup holder over night and the smell will be gone in the morning!

Or a charcoal air freshener works. Some car detail suppliers sell them.

it works for the other type of smoke as well.

but really, Its worked for me a few times for all types of smoke, including cigars.

the only thing I know it does is just absorb the odor. If you leave an air freshener in the night night that replaces the vinegar "smell"

Got it, thanks. I'll pass that down to client that just got a 996 GT3, and needs to get the rest of the smoke smell out.
