I just wasted 10 min. reading this BS, let the guy have fun learn something new and he can use this kit over and over I don't think it's a bad investment in my opinion

I am going to go ahead and order the kit that Phil suggested from Detailers Domain. I am the type of person that would rather do something myself and learn than to pay someone to do it for me. I have some surface scratches on my mercedes that I also need to tend to, so learning on my wifes Yukon is a good thing. I am sure with the wealth of knowledge and help from our members/sponsers I will be able to make it look right again. I will start a new thread with the results once completed.

Good stuff.......... Phil can get you set up as he has all the gear and more importantly HE KNOWS how to correct paint finishes. Corvettes have very hard paint and can be difficult to remove scratches and marring, then conversly get the paint to finish down but you will get it with some practice.

Amble,

As stated above, Phil is definitely the man when it comes to paint correction. In the past, he has been extremely helpful in finding the right tools and techniques to get an awesome result.

All of this being said about the time commitment involved, I am one who also enjoys fully correcting a car. Though someone else could do it for me, there is just something great in standing back and admiring a perfect finish after a lot of hard work.

Best of luck and definitely let us know how it turns out! Lesson learned about going to drive through washes
