Nah not really.. the car was practically rust free when i got it.. then i went through it completely anc changed appropriate metal to be sure..

its actually bodyworked to have perfect gloss paint.. but in the end.. i thought long and hard about it.. and i just didnt want something that pretty.

the "get down" about the car was more important than anything shiny..

before i redid the car.. heres how it used to look... this was about 4 or so years ago..




as you can see.. it went from being "cute" to something entirely different.

and it was no wuss then either.. it was running an aluminum headed smallblock 406.

 

Get down is right! I am in awe. Everything about that is just so bad ass.

Im announcing to my wife tomorrow I'm selling my car and turning our garage into a shop. Wish me luck!
