Nice write up. My friend's dad actually owned that car, I think he donated it to a museum?

sorry but your an idiot. I'd never give up my car for my kid ever, and trade it in for a soccermom van. rather drive my sportscar in a wall before that happens

i thought it was privately owned? there is a shop near me that supposedly does great work on C2 vettes (Duntov Motor Company - Performance Corvette Parts), grand sport rep or otherwise. imagine a late ('65, '66) C2 coupe with a seam welded chassis, 600hp 427, keisler transmission, cage, and proper suspension. would be a fun dd eh?
