It's pathetic honestly, in a time period when Porsche really needs to step up and affirm their quality as a brand with all the skepticism about their new models and the 911 platform in general, they come out with a car with 30k price bump because of a software upgrade and PCCB's are u kidding me.. hopefully they are just spending all their money and time on the 991 lets all keep our fingers crossed

The irons/steels are about as good anyway. The price does make sense though as it is the same price as a Panamera with all of the options is has, plus, some extra power. The power increase on this car is a 21k option on the Panamera, and you only get 40 more hp.Though this car is very stupid, it WILL go down in history as one of the fastest sedans ever. I wonder what the 'Ring time will be.

The Panamera Turbo S adds as standard lots of options, that if ordered on a standard Panamera Turbo, would bring the standard Turbo to a similar price as the Turbo S. PCCB, PDCC, PTV Plus, Sport Chrono, interior enhancements, upgraded Turbos, seats, etc. It makes just as much sense as the 911 Turbo S to me. And for those that want the most capable sedan plus a bit more, it would be a bargain. I'd wait a year to grab one with 5k miles on it.

So basically its a Panamera Turbo with 50hp more for $38,000 extra? no thanks.

I guess this makes the turbo S the fastest 4 door in the world?
