I followed up on this with a Porsche rep and he told me the same thing: they used to purchase their cars in USD but have since switched to Euros, justifying their price increase. They keep incrementally raising their prices every few months as well; the Cayennes have all seen their base prices go up an average of 400-600 KWD [1400-2200 USD] since their launch last year, and the Panamera models have had two price increases in the same range since last year.

Still, the demand for these two models is extremely high; Porsche Centre Kuwait ran out of Cayenne and Panamera stock and have started shipping cars in from dealers in Doha and the UAE to keep cars on the floor and available to customers.
