On June 13, 2011, Porsche took the Panamera Turbo to the Shanghai Formula 1 Circuit to break the lap record for a four-door production car. The result was a lap of 2:29.640 min. Watch the footage in this video. More information on http://www.porsche.cn

Of course it set the record.... It is the baddest sedan on the planet.

I'm pretty sure the tires in the video were Michelin Pilot Sport 2's as the Super Sports havn't got the size or "N" rating for the Panamera yet. The Super Sports aren't a track tyre anyway ite the Sport Cups that are track tyres.
