Mike, we're facing pretty much the same taxes here in Finland. I'm currently debating between panamera and the new cayenne (I drive a 2005 Magnum currently). I consider myself as a power lovin' guy and would choose turbo as 1. option but on the other hand you really do not get to use the power in real action and the S could be the DD for you then. But turbo is turbo and I like turbos....

Get the Cayenne S. The Turbo has too much power for it's weight. Besides, you can't really take the Turbo off roading like you can do in the S.

That was my thought as well.

If you already have the Turbo, and an X5M/Q7 V12, why bother with the new Cayenne?

Thanks for your comments guys. It has been taken into account. I really rish they had the new Cayenne S now available for test drive. Perhaps I should just postpone until July when the first demo's arrive and then make my final decision. Only downside is, it would set my delivery date back by 2 months which would be around December. Decisions, decisions...

That's what I'm afraid of. I might get bored of the S and switch to a Turbo anyway. Would like to get it right the first time though, before I go through the trouble speccing one out and waiting for it.

The ML63 has to go, I've had enough of it. I love MB, but this one gets a thumbs down from me.

If you are trying to be practical, the S is a fantastic choice.

I think I know which side you are leaning to. Thanks for the "hint"

Still have the Cayenne Turbo and Touareg V10. Just ditching the ML63 for the new Turbo. The X5 and Q7 had things here and there that I wasn't 110% satisfied with. So I decided to turn down that idea.

Thanks Mike. Same here, I'm not used to driving an average powered vehicle. Would be something I would have to get used to (not necessarily like).

I don't do any form of extreme off-roading. So the off-road capabilities has no pro's for me. Thanks for the input none the less

Interesting question. I am debating the same question on the panamera side. Turbo or 4s? I do not have the exact difference but even in base form it is about 39k.
