I 've driven the turbo...completely sick....it runs like a raped ape! I was truly floored at just how fast it went from 50 to 100. what a sublime machine. ours is the yachting/blue&cream. looks amazing in person. we will have a carbon/beige S arriving next week. can't wait to see what it's like. I think Porsche has a hit on their hands for sure, we just have to get people to see it and drive it - that is when it becomes more than just compelling. I think the Kool aid tastes great! anybody want seconds?
Oh, and of course, Pics to come soon............

I have to admit I am pleased and somewhat smug that the tide is turning on the car. As a 14 year Pcar sales geek it makes me happy. You all need to get to your local dealer and drive it. If you are not in the market for one I bet you would talk it up enough to influence someone who is...

IMHO a Porsche (much less a $140k Porsche) should not have to "grow on you." The Porsche lineup is full of iconic designs. Why couldn't the designers get it right and simply design a beautiful car around the Panny' amazing platform?

drove the 2S yesterday. What a fabulous vehicle!!! The car was incredibly nimble and fast. Recently coming from an M6, it was totally lighter, handled better, the accerleration without hesitation was there and it could have been driven alot harder given the road I was on. The car was planted on all 4 tires and handled the curves without any roll or instablility. This car was equipped with the PDCC, but I assume it would handle just as well without it.
Love how the engine shuts down at traffic lights and the autobraking.
The interior was top notch, the gauges were familiarly laid out to the 911, the buttons and trim were ergonomically placed. The leather was incredibly rich and the interior decked out with full leather was luxurious! I do believe full leather should be standard. I did listen to the Burmister(sp?) system in a beautfiul turbo that was sold and I am definatley into ordering that!
The trunk space was adequate compared to the M6 and the seats fold down giving tons of room for hauling stuff including my dogs!
Overall, I'd rate it an A plus!
Would I order one? Yes! The question is would I give up my C2S cab for it? Don't know yet....
Color would probably be yahting blue, but I would love to see it in green. The car I drove was the carbon gray which had alot of brown tones to it and luxor beige matched perfectly.

Porsche just did a hat trick.......but don't believe me. Watch the sales figures next month when they release.

^I hear what you are saying. I'm saying that Porsche may have nailed the interior and driving dynamics, but the exterior design falls way short of the competition. How about grafting a QP body on a Panamera Turbo with the Panny interior intact? Better yet, drop a MBZ S body on a Panny Turbo....
