140 is a great deal on a S65; but in no way shape or form does the Big Benz compare to the Panamera Turbo.

S65 is very low production; and it's balls fast. But the Panamera is a real handler. I'd recommend a S63 over a S65 for better overall value.

^I think that's fair. I also think the Panamera will be produced in larger numbers, compared to the AMGs, Masers, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they sold several thousand year or more

The S65 wasn't produced in large numbers for MY08 or 09 because it was a poor seller. At one point there was something like $15-20k market support on the car. However I think MB has learned it's lesson and decided (actually it's MBUSA who the whore is) and to produce/import much fewer and make the car much more exclusive.

AMG owners alike are sick of getting kicked in the ding ding with trade in value / resale. Panamera aside, I think the S550/63 is the cats meow of $100k luxo sedans.

Drives better then the flying spur IMHO> But I doo like the looks of the flying spur. Then again, I'm a little sick in the head.

I think the Panamera is just what Porsche dealerships need nowadays to keep them in the black

it will be a good seller imo

The turbo was stupid-fast, feels like a 911 turbo's acceleration. Hotcakes?? Chris.....you might be right, I was trying to think which body part I could sell to get one. Kidney?? I only need one, right?

I'm anxious to drive the 4S, it might be more fun to actually experience the gears. They go by too fast with the turbo.

This IMHO is the best looking interior from the factory for the Pany. The yachting mahagony inlay is very nice. Fudge the monitors, those are hideous and I am not sure I would not get a tan steering wheel, not sure about the blue one.

I actually preferred the 4S. Besides it's by no means a slouch. At the track I was (as I'm sure everyone who drove it was) ALL over the 997mkII C2S the instructor drove at the track.

zed to sixty in 4 seconds is silly with a car that big..

True. Though there are some that sell more 911s, Cayenne is usually the volume mover.

Agreed 150%. That interior with a Yachting Blue exterior = exquisite.
