I've got an idea. What about replacing all the Porsche badges with badges from the VW Touareg? Or better yet, get your CTT vinyl wrapped to make it look like a 1994 Chevy Tahoe or something!

Do you think that would make your so-called "peasants" fuss even less?

Absolutely. I'd also recommend lighting half of your house on fire and then telling everyone you got a killer deal on it because it's a "fixer-upper"!

lol...agree with most of the above, if you really want to be low key slap a blue oval on the tailgate ...to most folks a Porsche is still a Porsche. I do like rolling around de-badged sometimes tho...

Sleeper or nothing
If you feel like wasting gas and provoking, put "Cayenne", if you want a clean look, remove it

not trying to be offensive at all...

my point is just that the economic climate should have no effect on the badging of your car.

Debadge if you like the look without, otherwise there is no good reason to do it.

same for me. obviously i dont drive anything excessively fast.. or even "fast" compared to the rest of you and thats why i still have all my badges on

I'm sure some people do the exact opposite of this thread though.. what i mean is, buy a base cayenne (or any car for that matter) and then debadge it so its harder to tell that its a base model. either that or they go and buy (in the case of the cayenne) turbo and S badges and slap them on the back.

No offense taken - just wanted to clarify 1) my intentions and 2) my lack of humility.
