Would you trade?

I was throwing around the idea of trading in my 2006 Cayenne Turbo S for a 2009 GTS.

Think it is a good move? I know I would be loosing the power but gaining the new body style. Would love to go for the '09 TTS but the rate these cars depreciate it is not worth it.

if the GTS in question has a manual gearbox i would say yes, otherwise no.

I've driven a early pepper turbo S and liked it, but I liked the newer pepper bc I thought it looked better(i think that rhymes). I went with the GTS bc I really like the grip and handling for such a big car. Its a hard decision, have you driven the GTS? Its really up to personal choice more than anything else.

You're right about the depreciation. Do what a lot of guys are doing now: instead of trading the car, tune it.

With a good ECU flash and exhaust package, you should be able to get an easy 45-50 hp out of that Cayenne. RENN even has a lowering module for the car (shameless plug, I know - sorry!). Point is: you can really wake it up for maybe less than you think.

You'll get murdered trading in your '06. Unless the urge is overwhelming, keep the Turbo S.

No, don't do it. Like Chris said, you're going to get killed on the Turbo S. It's a great car, keep it for a while.

Keep the Turbo S and tune it - you'll always miss the power!
