#23
Thanks for the pics Carrera --- i just need to see a black one with the black wheels (20s) and i will be a happy camper
I cant make it 6 months without starting a thread on getting a new car. usually takes another 6 to actually get it though LOL!!!
OK now that is awesome. Please do report back to us what you think - with pics if you can
LOL....i know i know. At least its not Ferrari's.....or boats!!!
Thanks for the info!
Chris! I hear you man - def wouldnt trade the R for it. Even tho my girlfriend says they look EXACTLY the same i want a new Boxster and the Cayman R. Redundant? Maybe a little
.......and i hear you on the cars being pushed on the roadways. That is what i always tell people. My Cayman S/Spyder/Cayman R have MORE THAN ENOUGH power for me and how i like to use a car. I am more into the experience and the feeling than i am into how fast i go/accelleration.
Your doing it wrong!!

I like the new Boxster a lot. Considering how little opportunity there is to drive to its potential, I think a base one is plenty for non-track driving. I had a base Cayman before and it was really fun driving the nuts off it without going too fast. If I tried that in my 911, I'd still be in prison.
That said, don't do it at the expense of your Cayman R. Cayman R > any Boxster/Cayman.

Cayman R and Boxster would be a great combo. Not redundant IMO, esp. if you're tracking the R. GO test drive a base Boxster - you'll be surprised how fun it is. If you're looking for flat-out speed in a convertible anyway, skip the Boxster S and get a Corvette GS convertible.... Of course, there's much more to an enjoyable drive than pure speed and a shitty interior.
