Among others. The day I own a practical car is the day I turn in my man card.

Simba what year is your CS? Seems the earlier years had those issues you mentioned. I'd like to point out however that it was the CAYMAN that launched Porsche to the top of JD Power's Associates in QUALITY. So however the issue you had/have- not many cars had those issues.

The DFI CS are extremely difficult to find on the 2ndary market. And if you do find them (there's a few out there) they're bringing a premium. new CS would wipe the Z's arse.. but it's a lot more money.

The Z4M is DEF a rare bird...... and a great looking car.

08. The only real changes were TPMS sensors and color/wheel options. There were also some not insignificant software changes, but, visit a dealer and you get those.

What's irrational is that with the Z, I would consider roadster or coupe. There is no clear winner for me (since I am not a track junkie) - coupe does not weigh less, nor is it much more practical (trunk space), plus it's harder to see out of and more expensive. But on the Z3, I'd take the coupe in a heartbeat. And I would not consider a Boxster S ...

Simba, I presume your Z is a coupe?

Blown Viper, Blown Roush Mustang, Supra with a BFT, 355, Celica GT-Four (2), and.. other eclectic crap. I think there's an E30 in the back of the garage but I haven't seen that wall since Clinton's first term.

Nope, roadster. If I had to do it over I'd probably get a coupe as I really like the styling of the rear quarter and there's quite a lot more space in it, but only just. The roadster is a great little "euro baby viper" in many ways.
