What is the Best Brake Replacement for a 2007 Cayman S...
I had my Cayman on the track today and the brakes overheated during two of the sessions... It was a distraction and potentially dangerous, so it's probably time to get some new ones. Are there are any brakes that you guys would recommend over others?

Man, you must be hammering on them. The most I've gotten is a touch of fade, but never anything serious. I actually replaced mine with the stock pads, I was told they were the best so long as you weren't turning a majority of miles on the track.
I've heard of people replacing with Giro Slotted rotors. Some people upgrade to GT3 brakes. I have no experience with any of these as I've had no issues with the car's brakes. (06 S)

I would honestly recommend trying a high temperature brake fluid and pagid yellow pads before you spend thousands on a new set of disks. If that still doesn't do it, try replacing the master brake cylinder with the one from the GT3.
Stock brakes are really pretty good. Really.

I would have to agree with JCay, high temp fluid and pagid yellow pads should be all you need. The factory discs / calipers should be more than you will ever need for track day duties. I find that i have more brake than tire.
