Thumbs up NEW!!!! PDK Paddle Shifter Steering Wheel

PDK Paddle Shifter Steering Wheel

Three-spoke sport steering wheel with paddle shifters allows you to make motorsport-style gear changes. The paddles are made from a strong alloy and are ergonomically located behind the right and left steering-wheel spokes. Pull the paddle on the right and the PDK shifts up. Pull the paddle on the left and the PDK shifts down.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!!

Are these direct swaps for the standard PDK wheel? No wiring changes?

Same Question as JCay, is it a direct swap? How much?

Yes, it's a direct swap. It's currently listed at US$989.00 @ Suncoast.

To me, this mod alone makes the PDK a deadly weapon. If i was buying a car right now (mods included) i would be hard pressed to not get a PDK Cayman/Boxster/911 and put a sick exhaust on the car, lower, and this wheel. Just imagine double-downshifts with two flicks of the paddle....bark bark....back on the gas!!!

(going to change my pants)

Eh, PDK gets boring my friend. Trust me. If it were a track-only car and you needed those extra 10ths to win, then sure. But day in, day out... not so much. My next one will be a manual.

Porsche was trying to stay unique and not go with the paddles.

I guess the customer always wins.

That is a good thing! We don't always get what we want from Porsche, like a true Bluetooth for the longest time! I like to see Porsche reduce the number of buttons in the new Panamera by half and go with a the intuitive knob all the other Germans marque uses.
