As LABrit says, for A to B driving, it makes the PDK a more attractive option. It certainly makes the PDK more usable. For me though, I'll still order the manual.

the 2010 997 turbo has the paddles as an option (about $500). this pdk steering wheel could be used for turbos that don't have that option, as well as regular 997's and boxsters. If had a pdk 997 or boxster i would order this wheel faster than you can say "pdk".

The paddles go great with the three spokes.

I guess the customer always wins.
Actually it was Wiedeking who hated it and refused to release any P-car with it. But as soon as he left . . . Bam!

Finally! Rep for you. No more girlie automatic.

I've loved this steering wheel since I saw it in the Turbo S web special.

Is there any chance this "wheel" can be used on a manual car without the paddles?

...just as an afterthought on this....aside from the 6 speed vs PDK arguement...i would have to say that a white over black Boxster Spyder with black wheels, slammed, and loud exhaust with this paddle wheel would be a FUN CAR.

Just saying

Paddle shift comes standard on the S and was fitted to the "regular" 997.2 Turbo I drove recently. PDK with paddle shift is definitely the way to go.
