I am one of those people that just love the whole range rover feel and drive experience and thus hope they fixed their issues. Actually I have had OK experiences with the 99 and 07 models I have owned. The 99' had the computer that control the air susp go out at 100k miles but that is expected. Other then that it was great.
The 07 RRSC had no electrical or drivetrain issues whatsoever, but had many silly cosmetic things falling apart. The button to open the sunroof and the sunglasses holder were installed backwards. The headliner was falling down in the rear cargo area. These things are just silly to happen in such a car.

That sounds about right. One of my friends dad has an 06 as well. They are about at 60k and the problems are just starting to pop up. Engine, brakes, electronics...

I'm actually considering a RR ... the BMW powered MkIII are so nightmar-ish that they make the P38 look like a dream.
Jaguar powered MkIII seems much better though.

Calm down buddy, am not the only one having issues with them, their reliability issues have been not the best and most can agree with this.
Ducatis are slow, problematic and never ever going to beat the reliability of an Asian bike, and you still purchase them? (assuming what is in your signature is what you own)
Same difference buddy ;-)

You mean it looks like a standard P38?

I absolutely love the look, feel and drive of the Range Rovers, but I am only a fan of the full size supercharged, don't really like the sports much. As an owner I just make sure I purchase the extended bumper to bumper warranty just in case anything does get pooched, it is a must for these vehicles, buy the warranty and you'll be a happy owner. So far the only thing I've had to use the warranty for is a gas cap replacement (old one had a bad seal) on a 09 with 60,000kms. I plan on getting rid of this one soon though for a 2011. Plus its really not too bad when I pay $1800 a year on insurance for full complete coverage lol for a vehicle like this, thank you insurance company!

Gotta see it to believe it! Although I love P38's, especially the Overfinch ones! (Yes, I know they're not reliable )
