my friend had one (the regular one, not the sport) and she complained of the exact same issue, her air suspension was temperamental too. hers started acting weird at around 15k miles. i would stick with the G55 personally, i love those things even if they are a bit crude. she bought a CTT and adores it so that could be an option too.

as much as i love the RR, keep the G. esthetically the RR wins hands down but the G is a tank and will work like one. if its your dailydriver stay with it.

I had an 09 full size supercharged and had a 2010 g55. I never had any issues with the RR but we only kept it for 15,000 miles. While we never had a single issue with it the g55 just felt like a much higher quality truck. Just everything felt much more solid. That being said with a wife and kids the g55 was just too loud and uncomfortable so I did not keep it long. I am in the market for a new SUV and probably will go back and get a new 2011 RR supercharged. One person mentioned that the 2011 is very different from the 2010 what I think they mean is the 2010 is different form the 2009 it has a larger engine and some changed electronics and dash. The 2010 and 2011 are almost identical. Regarding the new engine in the g55 I think that is for 2012 models not 2011. Biggest problem picking a RR is picking a color since there truck is 10 years old there are just so may blk silver grey trucks in my area I am sick of looking at them. wish they would offer some new fresh colors. Be aware in 2 years a totally new RR will be introduced.

I think a VERY high percentage of inventory trucks are black; all I ever see around here is black. Love the bali blue but how many blue cars can one have? My local dealer says they only order black, silver or white b/c if they need another color they can always dealer trade the black ones....... I think all the other dealers think the same way; a quick search on autotrader and cars.com will prove this thought. B/c there seem to be only Henry Ford colors available we just ordered a bournville/tan (same color tan as in the Autobiography) RRSC.

The other negative regarding Land Rover is dealers outside my local area will NOT sell you a RRSC b/c there is a dealer local I'm supposed to buy from.... WTF!

^^ that isn't true. My local dealer sells cars to customers in other regions all time. Maybe they have an agreement of some sort?

my dad has a 2011 RR SC, and its a fantastic car in every regard, really made some nice updates for the 2011 my as compared to the 2010 which he had before. As far as reliability, we personally haven't had any issues, but it is something you should take into consideration, I don't consider these cars to be particularly bad in the reliability department if you go for a new one, but also i haven't had any serious issue's to warrant thinking reliability would be a problem.

Does your dealer first ask those customers for their zip code? My local dealer told me they will not sell outside their area and after a dealer in Atlanta asked for my zip code he said he couldn't sell to me b/c I was in another dealer's sales area..... New LRs only, used can be sold anywhere. Frankly, it p!ssed me off; I should be able to buy from whom ever I want? No?

I live in buffalo We have a dealer in the neighboring town (Rochester). I used to work there in HS for 5.5 years doing detailing then admin stuff with financing. I know for a fact we would sell to customers in rochester and Syracuse (on the other side of rohester) because I would drive the car to their homes. I am still good friends with the sales manager, I will send him a text or ask him at dinner tomorrow. Maybe the NE region is different from where you live. That I don't know.
