IMO it depends on many factors:
How old are you?
are you willing to pay for maintenance and so on because its going to be more expensive than your current ride.
Personally, I would not make the purchase regardless of the current price.

I was stuck in traffic downtown about 20 minutes ago at a red light, with millions of people around me, so I tried to picture myself sitting in a red Arnage there instead just to get the feeling of what I may or may not be daily driving in the future. Now, I usually don't schedule meetings of any importance on Fridays, which means I always dress casually. When I dress professionally, I look between 28 and 40 depending on who you ask. And when I dress casually (today is blue polo shirt, khakis and blue Adidas sneakers) I look anywhere between 16 and 23. And then I started laughing.
I'm not gonna look like a schmuck. I'm not gonna look like I own a discount store in the suburb and I'm not gonna look like a Yugoslavian mobster.
I'm gonna look like I'm taking my grampas car to the carwash.
